In 1995, he set off to the promising Languedoc region in southern France, with an ambition to produce wines that could compete with the world’s best. As well as making outstanding wine, he takes the utmost care of their vineyards. Not only does he keep the vines and soils healthy in order to harvest quality, concentrated grapes, but also to preserve the wild plants that border them – hence the name of this refreshing Chardonnay – Les Fruits Sauvages, or ‘Wild Fruits.’ Fresh. Complex. Balanced. It has aromas of white flowers, pear, green apple and hazelnut. Delicious buttery notes will complement pan-fried scallops perfectly..
