It has been a labour of love over generations for the Vavasour family to put the Awatere Valley on the map. In the 1980s, Louis’ parents, Peter and the late Anna Vavasour, were the first to grow grapes and make wine here. Growing up, Louis saw the river as the valley’s lifeblood and so named his wines to honour it. This Sauvignon Blanc has distinctive herbaceous aromas with bright stone fruit, passionfruit and citrus notes. Great with a goats cheese tart. This wine is 100% sustainably produced and vegan friendly..
