Founded in 1834 and led by the 6th generation, Lionel and Florent Boizel, the house is renowned for producing pure, terroir-driven Champagnes from prestigious villages. This Blanc de Noirs is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, an area celebrated for its robust and complex Pinot Noir. The blend combines grapes from three key Crus: Mailly Grand Cru, Chigny-Les-Roses Premier Cru, and Cumières Premier Cru. The chalky subsoils of the region impart a distinctive minerality, while the slow, controlled fermentation preserves the purity and expression of each vineyard. On the nose, expect aromas of ripe red fruits, like raspberry and cherry, alongside delicate floral notes. The palate is bold yet elegant, with flavours of wild berries, hints of spice, and a chalky, mineral finish. The fine bubbles and creamy texture are enhanced by three years of lees ageing and 20% reserve wines, adding depth and complexity.
