Boizel Brut Réserve NV, Champagne. Champagne Boizel Brut Réserve NV is a stunning expression of Champagne’s terroir, crafted by one of the region’s most historic family-run houses, founded in 1834. Currently led by the 6th generation, brothers Lionel and Florent Boizel, the house continues to produce Champagne in the classic style, showcasing finesse, elegance, and complexity. This non-vintage Champagne is a blend of grapes from around 30 different villages, predominantly Grand and Premier Cru sites, including the renowned Côte des Blancs. The Boizel family carefully selects only the first pressing (the cuvée) to ensure exceptional purity and freshness. The wine undergoes a slow fermentation process in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, followed by malolactic fermentation, to preserve the distinct personality of each vineyard and grape. On the palate, the Brut Réserve offers aromas of white flowers, citrus, and brioche, with flavours of green apple, pear, and a hint of honey. The fine mousse and delicate minerality, derived from Champagne’s chalky soils, give the wine a refreshing yet complex structure. Aged for at least three years on the lees, the wine develops additional depth and a creamy texture. This Champagne pairs beautifully with seafood, light poultry dishes, or soft cheeses. The combination of freshness, balance, and finesse makes it an ideal choice for any celebration. .
