They combined their 25 hectares of vineyards and, on the site of a 16th-century farmstead in the high-altitude region of Alto Adige, founded Cantina Girlan. Since then, the winery has gone from strength to strength – and today, it’s home to some of the most awarded wines in the area. Pinot Noir is a particular speciality, as you’ll see when you taste this elegant bottling. Made with hand-harvested grapes, it’s aged in both oak and bottle to give it extra complexity and smoothness.
