In fact Château Peyrassol’s vineyard estate was established all the way back in 1204 by the Knights Templar. In 2001 the property was acquired by Philippe Austury, who has worked ever since to raise its profile. The organic vineyards are set among 850 hectares of nature in the foothills of the Massif de Maures, where clay-limestone soils and a Mediterranean climate create the ideal conditions for rosé production. This petal-hued bottling has inviting aromas of flowers and red fruits, plus a velvety texture with a delicate finish.
