This textbook Albariño is typical of its coastal location, displaying fruity notes with crisp, salinic minerality. In 1985 a group of 50 winegrowers got together to create what is today Bodegas Martín Códax. They knew that in joining forces, they would be able to take their beloved grape, Albariño, outside of Portugal to delight the world – and they certainly achieved their goal with the grape now celebrated the world over.
