Definition by Majestic Mosel Riesling Kabinett. An exciting collaboration with the prestigious Dr Loosen winery, a long-term Majestic partner and a leading figure in German winemaking. This wine epitomises the Mosel Riesling style. Made from grapes grown on the steep, slate-soil vineyards of the Mosel Valley. These conditions are ideal for producing grapes with high acidity and intense aromatic qualities. The grapes are harvested at ‘Kabinett’ ripeness level, which ensures a delicate balance of sweetness and acidity. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures to preserve the wine’s fresh, fruity character. The wine is then aged briefly on its fine lees to enhance texture. With a very pale lemon hue, this wine is light with aromas of lime, green apples, and Sicilian lemon. On the palate, its lively acidity is beautifully balanced by succulent flavours of white peach and crunchy orchard fruits, finishing with elegant finesse at just 8% alcohol. Delicious when served chilled as an aperitif, it pairs wonderfully with ceviche, lobster, white fish, and goat’s cheese – as well as Thai and Asian cuisine..
