Errazuriz Single Vineyard Pinot Noir, Aconcagua. Nestled in the beautiful Aconcagua Valley in Chile, this winery was established all the way back in 1870. Located just 12km from the sea, their pioneering vineyards are planted with varieties best suited to the soil and slope of the property and in particular, the cool climate of this area. The sea breezes and morning fog offer ideal conditions for cool climate varieties such as Pinot Noir. Their Chief winemaker Tomás Muñoz joined the winemaking team in 2020, working under the watchful eye of Technical Director Francisco Baettig and is now responsible for all the Errazuriz wines. He studied Agricultural Engineering, specialising in Enology before working in both Chile and further afield to widen his winemaking knowledge. His experience abroad had shaped his style and the fresh approach to his craft is resulting in outstanding wines. Their single vineyard Pinot Noir has flavours of red fruit, cherry, plums and cranberry accompanied by soft notes of nutmeg. It makes for a great pairing with roast duck, grilled salmon or chicken and mushroom dishes..
