Eight years after planting the first grapes on his Lake County property, founder, Jess Jackson, and his family set out to make a premium, yet affordable, California wine. Grapes are grown in cool coastal vineyards resulting in small, densely-flavoured fruit which creates well-structured wines. The wines are kept separate until the final blend so that the winemakers have freedom to craft a wine that exhibits the perfect blend of flavours and aromas from each region.
